Gili Air Port
Gili Air doesn’t have an actual port or deep-water pier. Instead, all boats (public ferries, fast boats from Bali/Lombok, and inter-island services) land directly on the beach in the south bay of the island. This informal “port” handles all incoming and outgoing traffic, including public ferries from Lombok, fast boats from Bali, and local inter-island boats between the three Gili Islands. Boats generally anchor just offshore, and passengers will have to walk through shallow water, often knee to waist (deep depending on tides and boat size), to reach the shore.
Where is Gili Air Port located?
Gili Air Port (Gili Air Harbour) is located on the southeastern coast of Gili Air, directly along the main beachfront path, approximately 150 meters east of the island’s central inland crossroad and around 400 meters south of the Gili Air Night Market. See in Google Map »

How to Go to Gili Air Port?
Since Gili Air is a vehicle-free island accessible only by boat, you'll need to combine land and sea transport—typically a car or shuttle + fast boat—to reach the terminal at Gili Air Port (Harbour).
From Bali, most travelers start by taking a shuttle or private car to one of the main departure Ferry Terminals like Padangbai, Serangan, Sanur, or Amed, depending on which fast boat company you’ve booked with. Then, you can board a fast boat to Gili Air Island. Upon arrival, the boat docks directly at the southeastern beachfront jetty—you'll step off onto the sand just meters away from the port area.
From Lombok, the easiest route is to take a taxi or private car to Bangsal Harbour, located about 1 to 1.5 hours from Lombok International Airport (LOP). From there, you can catch a public boat (cheaper, slower) or a private speedboat (faster, more expensive) for the 15–20 minute ride to Gili Air.
From Gili Trawangan or Gili Meno - public island-hopper boats run twice daily, or you can hire a private boat for a short 10–20 minute ride. These also arrive at Gili Air Port, right at the heart of the beachfront area, within easy walking distance of accommodations, dive shops, and cafes.
